The graduates could work in the public health services, the private sector or as free lancers, providing dietary guidance for the prevention and management of degenerative diseases, planning menus, supporting athletes, and conducting dietary research. A major field of employment is hospitals and dietetic institutes, where in collaboration with the medical staff, the dieticians develop and apply dietary interventions. Other areas include catering units for normal and special diets, industry for food production, retail and advertising.
