His research interests are focused on understanding the behaviors related to obesity and chronic cardiometabolic diseases and their determinants, as well as on the design and implementation of intersectoral interventions for the prevention and management of these diseases in all the life stages. He also deals with the implementation of clinical studies and the development of indexes and tools to assess and ensure optimal growth and development in infancy and childhood.
