Dr. Vlassopoulos is a Dietitian-Nutritionist with 10 years of experience in the study of the role of food and its processing in health promotion. He has worked as a researcher in universities in Greece and the UK, in the food industry and as a consultant to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations. He is involved as a trainer in leadership and scientific communication skills development activities for young scientists. He is a member of the board of the European Platform for Leadership in Nutrition and Vice President of the Panhellenic Association of Dietitians and Nutritionists.
